About Roxanne Grinstad

Though I am best known for my watercolors, I also paint in acrylic and oil. My interest in cultural art forms has led me to also paint the ethnic art forms of Norwegian Rosemaling, German Baunermalerei, and Asian Brush Painting. My paintings are in private collections in the USA, Canada, Europe and Asia.

I enjoy painting commissions and creating that special memory for someone.

I have written and illustrated several books,”Wildflowers of Holden“, Holden Historic Iris, and “Drawing from Nature: Inspiration Appreciation and Artisty.

In the last fifteen years I have taught painting through Skagit Valley College, Peninsula College, North Cascades Institute, Burlington Senior Center and La Romita School of Art in Italy. With all these connections my life has been enriched by so many wonderful people!
